Wrapping Up and Looking Forward!
Arc three of Dragon's Grail is over, but there is still more to come!
It’s over????
Not really! But Arc 3 of Dragon’s Grail, The Dukes of Odwego, has finished posting! I really appreciate everyone who has read along and shared this story, it means the world to me. ❤️
And remember, the first arc, Escape from Ice Mountain, is still free to read!
Most of the story is behind a paywall now, which I sort of hate but also I need to eat. However!!!! I am getting ready to release all three arcs as books! So if you don’t want to subscribe to the Bibliotheca, you can just drop a few bucks and buy them outright. I suggest at least following this blog to know when those drop!
What’s next?
Yes, there is an arc 4: The Pirate’s Witch! It is almost done being written and I’m aiming to start posting it here starting in May!
What’s NEXT next?
Honestly, a carrot I’ve been dangling in front of myself for a while now is to get back to writing Transmigrated Teri. It is a story near and dear to my heart, so while Dragon’s Grail 4 is posting, expect this story to get yoinked out of hiatus! I finally figured out a way to blow up the huge plot hurdle I created last year and the story is rocking along. I’m so excited to share this one with you!
Okay but THEN WHAT?
While doing all this writing, I’ve started Serial Nation, which is a way for me to share everything I’ve learned about serials and serialization. I’m one of the very few experts on the topic, not just because I write serials but because I actually study the serialization/subscription industry using my expertise as both a librarian and a historian of text technology. If you want to find out more, you can sign up for my Serial Nation Field Notes newsletter for free!
And that, as they say, is a wrap!
The Dukes of Odwego finds Astra (secret necromancer, former nun, and displaced librarian of Qordashi) drifting ever farther from the only life she knew and deeper into a world she never expected to see. The powerful, winding Hoshikwazu river leads her, her injured best friend Traz, and the ever-enigmatic Xavai to a city that glitters with wealth but reeks of corruption. Within its walls, sour magic whispers, alliances shift like silt, and every kindness hides a price. To save the people she loves, Astra must rely on her wits, her courage, and maybe, maybe, a little necromancy.
Thank you for reading! 🎊 I’d love your comments and feedback! ☕
