Y’all I have been busting ass on getting Dragon’s Grail ready for publishing, up to and including creating a whole new cover design and revamping my website. Key among those efforts is an updated DG “logo”, which OMG TOOK HOURS PLEASE TELL ME YOU LIKE IT PLEASE!!!!1!!
No I did not draw it from scratch but I took the vector clip art and changed it up to look less “tribal” and more “art nouveau.” Because the latter is the general aesthetic for, well, everything in my life but especially this serial! And then the gold effect, in Affinity… look, it was a journey, okay?
GRAPHIC DESIGN IN MY PASSION!
And that meant the old place-holder book cover needed an upgrade, since I am putting each arc up for sale. I bought some great art nouveau art from Stanislav (highly recommended!) and used one for the basis of the cover for arc 1.
It’s happening it’s really happening!!!
I will start posting Arc 4, “The Pirate’s Witch,” as part of the launch of the books for arcs 1 through 3. Stay tuned!
